11/11/2023 0 Comments Winter session![]() Any courses taken during Winter Session will be combined with spring registration to determine federal financial aid eligibility. ![]() The Office of Financial Aid will adjust your cost of attendance (COA) for spring based on Winter Session registration. Your federal financial aid eligibility is based on your combined winter and spring registration. Enrollment in both winter and spring term courses will initiate this review. ![]() The Office of Financial Aid will automatically review your federal eligibility based on your combined winter and spring registration. You must have a current FAFSA on file to be eligible for federal aid. If you enroll in three credit hours for Winter and 12 credit hours for Spring, you will be billed the per credit hour rate for the three Winter hours, and you will be billed the full-time rate for the 12 credit hours you take during Spring. For example, if you enroll in three credit hours for Winter and nine credit hours for Spring, you will be billed the per credit hour rate for each term. If you've already been awarded a full-time package based on your grade level and dependency status for the spring, adding winter registration will not increase your Pell or Direct Loan eligibility however, there may be other financing options, such as an alternative loan or Parent Plus loan. ![]() Winter Session enrollment is combined with spring enrollment to determine federal financial aid eligibility however, for billing purposes, winter and spring are separate terms. Please see the academic calendar for the due dates. You will be billed separately for Winter Session and will be responsible for paying by the due dates for each session. ![]()
